Description

The Occupational Health and Safety Diploma in the Food and Environment Technology Department is designed to meet local labor market needs. The program focuses on specialized skills in identifying and controlling workplace hazards, emergency response, and studying the impact of chemicals and biological agents on human tissues. It also covers safety risks in general industry and construction sites, defining safety roles and responsibilities, and exploring current OHS management systems. The program aims to enhance the trainee's ability to build and implement an integrated safety and health management system at the organizational level.
